The weather is getting warmer, the grass is starting to grow and Spring is truly in the air down at Mudchute Park and Farm with the arrival of our first White faced Woodland and Oxford Down lambs for the season.
Lambing season at the farm is one of the busiest in the year with our farmers now on call 24 hours a day to make sure the sheep are well looked after. At this time of year a visit to the farm is a little bit more exciting as bouncy, hungry lambs are eager to greet visitors.
A big thank you to all our Corporate supporters who have volunteered their time recently to build fences, plant bulbs and help us with hedge pruning work to prepare for the busy season ahead.
Spring is a great time to support our Amy Appeal by contributing £2 per house hold. Donate now
We look forward to introducing you all to Amy our prize winning sheep and her frolicking newborn friends when you next visit us.
Hope to see you down at the farm soon.
Best regards from the team at Mudchute Farm.
