"Where children have their say and control of play"

At Mudchute After School Club we provide a safe, warm, secure and happy environment where children can play, learn and have fun and parents / carers are welcomed, made to feel comfortable and encouraged to approach staff with their concerns or suggestions.

Our play workers will support child led, age appropriate, interactive play opportunities that will enhance your child's emotional and physical development. Activities will be developed through consultation with children attending the provision and within our caring setting; children will flourish, gaining confidence and self esteem.
Most importantly your child will have fun as part of our free play and child led activities programme. They will have; time to explore the farm, the animals and their natural environment, freedom of choice and opportunities to play and socialise with friends.

• Food and drink for children is also provided during after school club sessions

Venues

We at Mudchute are very privileged to be based on a Farm. We make good usage out of our natural surroundings and environment with activities such as den building and nature walks.

We have a large field which is used frequently for sports and free play. We also have a minibus which allows us to take children to many other places off site, for example adventure playground and kids spaces.

We have a designated After School club and Holiday Playscheme area which has a kitchen onsite, and a natural playground out the back.

Mon–Fri 3–6.30pm (Including pick up service)
£11.00 per child

Holidays
Mudchute also offers full day provision from 8.00am-6.30pm on weekdays when schools are closed.
Mon-Fri 8am-6.30pm (Holiday Playscheme)
£23.00 per child

As Mudchute takes on many work experience and young volunteers alongside hosting events for young people we are also part of the Docklands Youth Service which has most young clubs/youth services involved.

As well as work on site Mudchute After School club also runs many park projects in which our play rangers can assist children and young people access play materials and workshops.

Many of our play workers also help out with school playtimes, running arts and crafts and elemental play.
