Pony club at Mudchute Park & Farm

There are 5,000 Pony Club Members in Great Britain, belonging to either one of the 345 Branches or 552 Centres. The Pony Club has a membership of over 137,000 across 16 countries, making it the largest association of riders in the world.

The Mudchute Equestrian Centre is a Centre Member of the National Pony Club. This enables children, who do not own their own pony, but ride regularly, to participate in Pony club activities. These include training and studying for their Efficiency Tests and Badges, Riding and Road Safety, Stable Management along with social events, competitions and lots of good fun!

Weight limit: 13 stone or 82 kilos

Dress code

Please wear comfortable trousers (jeans are not recommended) and shoes or boots with small heel (up to 1 inch)

Riding hat hire is £1 per lesson

Pony club activities

During school holidays, we offer a wide range of activities which include:

  • dressage competitions
  • jumping competitions
  • handy pony
  • gymkhanas
  • quizzes
  • pony club camp
