Mudchute Park & Farm has acres of fun for everyone!

We host a variety of seasonal events throughout the year that include our Easter Parade, Summer Open Day, Christmas Fair and Spooky Halloween. Throughout school holiday periods look out for various children's activities down on the farm.

Donkey Rides for Children

Donkey rides are suitable for children from 3-9 years of age. Rides cost £2 each. All rides are at the discretion of staff and subject to weather conditions.

Come watch our adorable orphan lambs as they are bottlefed!

Go wild in the woods
11am-1pm (registration from 10:15am)

If you go down to the woods today, you're sure of a big surprise.

Children aged between 5-11 years of age are invited to join us for some fun packed activities which include shelter building, cooking on an open fire, minibeast hunting, bird watching and guided walks.

Registration opens at 10:15am in the main courtyard. You can also register online before the day. Cost £5 per child. Please ensure your child wears suitable clothing and footwear.

Come meet some of your favourite Pets Corner residents up close and find out more about these incredible creatures.

April 10th

Easter Tea Dance for the over 50's
The Barn

Mudchute is proud to host its first ever tea dance for the over 50's.

As part of the afternoon, tea will be served with finger sandwiches and hot cross buns. Come along and take to the dance floor while listening to some old favourites.

April 12th

Easter Experience at Mudchute Farm!
Stables Courtyard

Join St. Luke's Millwall, Christ Church and Mudchute for a unique opportunity to experience some of the sights, sounds and smells of the first Easter. Activities include a donkey procession, drama, songs, crafts, face painting, treasure hunt and more.

April 17th

Wetland Launch
Wildlife Ponds

Mudchute is proud to launch the new and improved wetland area, restored thanks to our partners Froglife and Tower Hamlets council, who will be hosting the event.

Activities will include pond dipping, seeding the area around the ponds, arts and crafts, workshops and more! Light refreshments will be served during the event.

Easter Egg Hunt
11-11:45am and 1-1:45pm
starting at the Shop

Easter Bunny has been here today
He dropped some clues along the way
Follow the clues you need to be wise
As they will lead you to your prize.

Find the Easter Egg clues around the farm and collect your chocolate Easter egg when you finish! Entry forms will be available from the Shop located in the main courtyard at a cost of £2 per entry.

Easter Bonnet Parade
from 12pm
Lower Field

All children are invited to create lovely bonnets and enter them in the competition.

There will be two age categories (under 8 years and over 8 years) and prizes will be awarded to the best hats. Delicious Easter treats will be provided for all who enter.

Wool Crafting at Mudchute

Calling all who knit, crochet, felt, weave or craft with wool! Join us for our monthly wool crafting meetup! Bring your projects (or get inspiration for new ones)! May 4th

Dawn Chorus Walk
from 5am

Join us bright and early to hear the melodious Dawn Chorus with a walk led by Tower Hamlets biodiversity officer, John Archer.

Last year we heard blackbirds, song thrush, robins, blackcaps and many more species on a beautiful morning. You can see photos from last year's walk here.

We will meet at the top carpark (outside the cafe) and set off from there at 5am. Be sure to dress warmly!
