We have a number of geese on the farm of a variety of breeds. Our geese lay eggs regularly during the spring and are the noisy watchdogs of the farm!

Chinese geese

Distinguishable from other geese by the bump on its head, these geese are great watchdogs because they are loud and curious. These birds are excellent egg layers, averaging over 80 per year.

Greylag geese

The ancestors of most domestic geese, the Greylag is the largest and bulkiest of the wild Geese native to the UK and Europe and can live up to 10–15 years. If you have a careful look you will notice that their bills are serrated, like teeth.
