Riding

Hyde Park was bursting with colour on the first day of October!

Not only was the foliage golden and falling from the trees, there was both horses and horse chestnuts all over Rotten Row. The Civil Service Riding Club, celebrating their 80th anniversary, invited riding schools from all over London to participate in The London Riding Horse Show.

Mudchute sent two entrants: Miss Jaime Mangan on Treasure, who won Best Young Rider after being awarded two Highly Commended rosettes in the Best Riding School Pony and Best Ridden Pony classes. Jaime negotiated with Treasure and displayed some fine trot and canter action.

Chaccino, known in Mudchute as Teddy, brought in a 5th place in the Prelim 13 class for non-affiliated riders and a very respectable mid 60’s score for Prelim 7 for those who ride at affiliated level. Not bad for their debut dressage event.

Looking forward to more entrants in 2018!
