CSR is about how companies manage their business processes to produce an overall positive impact on the environment and society.

How can CSR help Mudchute?

Education and the environment is at the heart of all we do at Mudchute Park & Farm. As a charity we have limited financial opportunities to improve upon areas that we find are necessary to reduce our impact upon the environment.

We are currently seeking funding opportunities for projects to help us improve our energy efficiency which will ultimately reduce our energy costs.

These projects include:

• insulating offices and public buildings i.e. restaurant and conference room
• replacing existing windows with thick toughened glass
• introduction of Solar & Motion activated lighting
• reduction of water consumption and wastage
