Important notice for events at Mudchute Park and Farm

Dear community,

We are writing to you respectfully to advise you that we will be holding three events at Mudchute Park and Farm this year.

Events Schedule

K in the Park – This is a small marketing event that will take place on the Upper Paddock only on Thursday 27th June. The amplified music will be finished by 8pm.

We will be setting up the venue on the 24th 25th & 26th June and will have left by 1pm on the 28th June. The top paddock will be closed to the public from 24th – 28th June.

RecFest – This is a human recourses conference with an after-party element. Both the lower and upper paddocks will be in use and closed to the public from 7th -14th July. The event is a one day event on the 11th July and the amplified music will be closed off at 10.45pm

The Big Tent Ideas Festival – This is a community event that debates social issues with a smaller after-party element to it. Both the lower and upper paddocks will be in use and closed to the public from 27th August – 2nd September .The event is a one day event on the 31st August and the amplified music will be closed off at no later than 9pm. As this is a community event, if you would like to register your interest in a complementary ticket please email Natasha at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it These are limited and will be offered on a first come first served basis.

On both 11th July and 31st August, in line with Health and Safety and requests from the Metropolitan Police, we will be closing off the footpath between the Asda entrance and the lower paddock to all but conference delegates traveling to the lower paddock. This is so that we can implement a safe one way system between the paddocks.

Working together

As you are aware, Mudchute Park and Farm is a registered charity. The team at Mudchute work tirelessly each year to improve their venue and ensure that you all, as residents, can enjoy the farm and the community spirit within it. Whilst we understand that events can inconvenience local residents, we assure you that we are undertaking these with strict guidelines from Tower Hamlets and that the funds received will be used to ensure the continued improvements of Mudchute Park and Farm for the community to enjoy.

Assuring you of our attention
