  • Nestled amidst Canary Wharf's urban landscape, Mudchute Farm offers a refreshing escape into nature. With its diverse array of animals—sheep, ducks, swans, horses, and friendly squirrels—it's a delightful oasis in the heart of the concrete jungle. The winding paths create a countryside ambiance, providing a unique contrast with occasional distant glimpses of towering buildings. Whether you seek a tranquil day out or a different running environment, Mudchute Farm is undoubtedly worth a visit, offering a charming blend of city and country vibes.

  • Living nearby, it became my go-to spot, and I can’t believe I didn’t know about it earlier.

This hidden gem boasts a variety of animals, from pigs and alpacas to sheep and cows, making it an ideal family destination. The best part? It’s free to enter!

The park offers plenty of space for kids to play, and there’s a charming cafe on-site. Plus, the occasional market adds to the excitement, offering everything from fresh fish to unique clothing items.

Surrounded by nature, it feels like a slice of the Cotswolds right in London.

I highly recommend this park, especially for families with kids. It’s a truly amazing place to spend a sunny Saturday or Sunday. Don’t miss out! 😊

  • I have been living in London for almost 10 years now and since my son was born 3 years ago we have been visiting all sorts of farms around London. Who would have imagined that the best of all farms was hidden in Canary Wharf! An absolute gem, a must visit especially if you have children. Plenty of animals to see and feed. Big spaces and there is also a café/restaurant to have a nice lunch (they have good prices too). Totally recommended

  • This is a fantastic place for a fun family day out. We really enjoyed ourselves at the farm. There were lots of different animals including lambs, goats, cows, donkeys, chickens etc. You are also able to feed animals for £1. This is definitely a place worth visiting!

  • it's a sterling purpose-driven, community-centric, volunteer-based kind of place, and I think, post-covid, we all know the value of getting some time to have a wander through some greenery (and feed a goat or two!)

  • Its the best place for the children on a fine summer day. The animals are a good attraction but above all its such a pleasant walk around the fields and open spaces. The cafe is good. There’s a great picnic spot as well. Its not too far from the tube.

  • Had a lovely day yesterday with my hubby. Sun was shining. We were happy, so we're the animals. Wonderful place to visit. Even if you haven't got children. Thoroughly recommend a visit.

  • Today we took a wellbeing walk down to Mudchute Park and Farm to visit the animals!

The theme for mental health week is anxiety. Anxiety is something we can all experience from time-to-time, and if we don't know how to cope with these feelings, they can get out of control and stop us from doing the things we want or need to do.

Dealing with anxiety can be hard, but there are some things we can do to manage these tough feelings - like going for a walk, spending time with nature or connecting with people and talking about how you feel.
