London Harvest Festival
Please join us for the 28th annual London Harvest Festival
🗓️ Saturday, 19 September, 10am-5pm
📍 Mudchute Park and Farm
Entry and all activities are free. Meet the animals, watch the competitions, try a heritage craft and pick your favourite horticultural display at the 28th London Harvest Festival.
Mudchute is excited to be hosting the London Harvest festival. The Harvest festival is planned and run by the London City Farms and Community Gardens Association.
The Festival includes an animal competition, a horticulture show, “Have-A-Go” with traditional crafts, and the annual tug-of-war.
The Animal show includes categories for the animals including best sheep and best guinea pig as well as competition amongst the young handlers. This is the time for Young Farmers to show off what they have learned while volunteering at their local city farm.
The Horticulture tent highlights produce, botanicals as well as the important environmental education work of City Farms and Community Gardens.
For enquiries about the harvest festival please contact rachel@londonfarmsandgardens.org.uk.
Bathrooms, washing facilities and shaded seating available. The Mudchute cafe will be open all day for you to purchase food.
