Volunteer Young Ambassadors

Are you passionate about animals and enjoy helping people? Become a Young Ambassador at Mudchute during the School Holidays.

This volunteer role is a great way to gain experience, build confidence, and contribute to a working farm - ideal for Duke of Edinburgh participants or anyone looking to develop new skills.

Open to 14 - 18 year olds. Register your interest.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Welcome visitors and be the first point of contact

  • Provide directions and hand out maps

  • Share general information, basic animal information and history about The Farm

  • Helping with daily shop tasks including serving customers, restocking, and keeping the space tidy and welcoming.

Commitment:

  • A minimum commitment of 3 hours per week during the summer school holidays, with shifts available from 9:30-12:30pm or1:00-4:00pm.

  • Full indication prior starting (July)

  • A polite and courteous attitude when interacting with visitors and colleagues.

  • Strong customer service skills and a willingness to engage positively with visitors.

  • Reliability and punctuality to ensure smooth daily operations.

  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting the team.
